A true collector's piece, this vintage Navajo sterling silver concho belt was handcrafted by the late award-winning Navajo artist Tommy Jackson. The belt features Tommy Jackson's signature three-piece buckle system, highlighted by a spectacular sterling silver overlay buckle measuring 2 x 3 inches. The center buckle is expertly inlaid with vibrant orange spiny oyster shell and blue webbed turquoise, creating a striking contrast that immediately draws the eye.
Flanking the center buckle are two matching inlaid sterling silver conchos measuring 1.75 x 2 inches, each featuring the same intricate overlay work and matching stone inlay.
Completing the belt are ten additional sterling silver overlay conchos, each measuring 1.75 x 2 inches. Every concho displays a unique hand-cut Navajo rug-inspired geometric design, making each one an individual work of art while creating a cohesive, balanced presentation across the belt.
