Sonora Sunrise is a mix of minerals, red is Cuprite, Blue is Chrysocolla, black is iron oxides.
This is the trade name given to this stone that was found in the Milpillas Mine in Sonora, Mexico in 2006. There is very little top- grade material available today. Sonora Gold Turquoise is mined in Mexico and the beads were purchased from Sunwest in Albuquerque.
