Natural turquoise is an exceptional rarity in today’s market—over 99% of all turquoise is stabilized or color-enhanced. In contrast, Cripple Creek turquoise is renowned for its remarkable hardness, eliminating the need for artificial treatments. The Florence Mine is now closed, making stones like this even more valuable and difficult to find.
